This recent oil of King penguins in the surf on South Georgia, measures 21" x 40". It was selected for the Swarovski/Birdwatch magazine 'Bird Artist of the Year 2005' award at the SWLA annual exhibition last September. I am contemplating publishing the picture as a limited edition giclee reproduction if I receive sufficient interest. SOLD.

This oil painting (30" x 40") is of a snow petrel at the Antarctic peninsula, at 0445hrs, just as the early rays of the sun, shining through from under heavy cloud cover, clip the face of a glacier. The sea appeared almost black due to the dark clouds above and the contrast with the sunlit ice.
The painting will be on show at the British Birdwatching Fair, Rutland Water, 19th - 21st August. SOLD
