Finished painting: Sorry it's taken me so long to get this on to the studio page - pressures of painting! Anyway, here is the finished piece. I added a bit more detail and refinement to the grassy hummocks and painted in the background water. Finally a few shore-birds were added; a grey plover in the middle-distance and a few waders and a gull on the far shoreline. This picture was shown at the SWLA annual show in London last autumn and will probably end up in my one-man show (see 'Events' page on this website). I'd be interested to hear comments, good or otherwise!!!
