Stage 10; I've worked up the clumps of bladder-wrack that sit amongst the green stuff(!) and have started to work on the mud infront of the seaweed.

Great to see it come alive like this.
Do you still work exclusively on mdf-board like you mention in your book or have you tried canvas yet? Do you work on one painting at a time or do you work on multiple projects at the same time?
Cheers, Erik

Hi Erik,

Yes, still working on mdf and I usually work on one painting at a time. I get absorbed into it and have to see it to conclusion.

Hi Chris, that's interesting to read. A lot of (wildlife) artists seem to work on multiple paintings at the same time to be able to get a fresh look at things and with oils to be able to let one painting dry while you work on another. Myself, I don't have a lot of studiospace so I generally work on 1 or 2 paintings max :)
