Finished painting; I've continued in the same vein to the bottom of the picture and finished off the birds and their reflections. This painting can currently be seen at my one-man show at the SOC headquarters, Waterstone House, Aberlady, E. Lothian, Scotland (see 'Events' page for details).

Good to see you fixed your blog. Beautiful image. I love the warm light vs cool shadows on the birds and all the glistering effects on the seaweed.
WOW, when you wouldn't have post the WIPs I couldn't believe that this is a painting - it is very realistic and looks like a p hoto. Wonderful work on your blog.
