Waiting for Breakfast
These house sparrows would queue-up, impatiently, on the dilapidated wire fence in my garden, waiting for me to come out with their morning feed. On this frosty, bright morning I was captivated by their personable characters and by the effect of the low sun illuminating them and the frosted fence against the dark background. Original painted in acrylics on paper.
